 DEAR JOHN MOVIE REVIEW
While I’m a sucker for romantic movies, “Dear John” was really not what I expected. John (Channing Tatum), a solider in the United States Army, meets and ultimately falls in love with Savannah (Amanda Seyfried) while he is home on leave. While the majority of the movie is spent following their love story whether its while they’re together in person or apart through letters, a large chunk also focuses on John’s relationship with his Dad and how Savannah affects that relationship. I truly enjoyed the movie and even ran out afterwards to get Nicholas Sparks novel because I couldn’t get enough. I would totally suggest going to catch this flick but bring Kleenex – it’s a true tear-jerker.
